At Luker Custom Canvas we have over 130 years of combined experience!
No other company in our area can boast about having 130 years of collective experience in the canvas mfg industry. We have knowledgeable staff in every department of our business with many years of experience. We are able to fabricate and install every job to our customers satisfaction.
Our mission statement “Quality with Integrity” is not just something we have printed on our letterhead and business cards. It is imprinted in minds and hearts as not just a business practice but a way of life. Our goal is not to just build a quality product for our customer but also to conduct our business practices and customer relationships with a high standard of integrity.
My Dad; Marshall Luker ” The Flag Man” wrote and lived by the following words:

- Mutual trust and understanding
- All men do not have the same work habits or motivation
- Learn to carry just a little more than you share
- Try to see your partner gets just a little more or better than you
- Realize you must have mutual agreement whenever possible
- Know enough about every part of the business to accept total responsibility
- Expect to get hurt once in a while
- Be careful where family employees are concerned. They are employees. ( They can suggest- not boss)
- Learn to watch after equipment, tools, etc.
- Never use company funds for personal use
- Be careful not to let I.O.U’s build up
- Don’t be a minute counter on your partner
- Stand Together if possible. When not, learn to stand alone
- Do not allow wives comments to sway you away from dead center
- Learn to adjust to change in schedule without falling apart or showing your confusion
- Time is all you have. Take advantage of it. Watch employees in the same way
- Be careful of use of company equipment inside and outside of the shop
- Don’t be afraid to talk business when away from the shop
- Watch close personal and company debts
- Vacation is important but not the ultimate
- Don’t be afraid to say “I’m Sorry.”
